Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH) Has Been The Subject Of Numerous Studies, From The Late 1940s When It First Came To Clinical Attention, And Various Aspects Of This Disease Have Been Analyzed Throughout The World. Although Its Clinical, Laboratory And Histological Features, As Well As Demographical Characteristics, Have Been Extensively Studied In Many Countries And In Different Ethnic Groups, There Have Been No Such Statistics Or Analysis Available For The Patients In The Middle East Countries With AIH Until Now.

هپاتیت “خود ایمنی” موضوع مطالعات متعدد شده است . از اواخز سال ۱۹۴۰ زمانی که آن برای اولین بار مورد توجه بالینی در آمد و جنبه های مختلف این بیماری در سراسر جهان فراگرفته شد.
اگرچه ویژگیهای بالینی ، آزمایشگاهی ،بافت شناسی و همچنین ویژگی های جمعیتی بطور گسترده در بسیاری از کشورها و در گروهای مختلف قومی وجود داشتند ، چنین آماری و تجزیه و تحلیل در اختیار بیماران در کشور های شرق با هپاتیت خود ایمنی بوده است.

New therapy for Genotype 3, hopefully, but it is soon to conclude now
Dr Keshvari presented recently published article in management of HCV genotype 3 infection in our discussion meeting.
۱- Zeuzem S, Dusheiko GM, Salupere R, Mangia A, Flisiak R, Hyland RH, et al. Sofosbuvir and ribavirin in HCV genotypes 2 and 3. N Engl J Med. 2014;370(21):1993-2001.
۲- Jacobson IM, Gordon SC, Kowdley KV, Yoshida EM, Rodriguez-Torres M, Sulkowski MS, et al. Sofosbuvir for hepatitis C genotype 2 or 3 in patients without treatment options. N Engl J Med. 2013;368(20):1867-77.
In conclusion, in new rea of therapy of HCV infection with new drugs, therapy and eradication of genotype 3 is much more difficult than other genotypes. We should forget the 12 weeks of therapy with Sofosbuvir plus Ribavirin and this strategy should continue for 24 weeks or adding Ledipasvir to Sofosbuvir with 100% of response rate. I believe that before availability of these drugs in our region, it is better to follow the genotype 3 cases with Interferon alpha peg plus ribavirin now.
